In-Person & Distant Reiki Healing
A calm, supportive space focused on you and your wellbeing
For me, Reiki is ultimately about helping the person in front of me. Every client comes with their own circumstances, experiences and reasons for seeking a session, and every person may experience Reiki differently.
My approach is personal, gentle and centred around communication. Whether you come to me for an in-person session or receive distant Reiki, my aim is to provide a peaceful and supportive experience where you can slow down, relax and focus on yourself.

My Approach to Reiki
A Reiki session with me begins with a conversation.
Before we start, we'll sit together and talk about what has brought you to the session, any concerns you may have and what you hope to gain from the experience. I'll explain how the session works, what you may experience and what you might notice afterwards.
During an in-person session, I use a combination of working with my hands lightly on or above the body. Everything is discussed with you beforehand, and your comfort and personal boundaries are always respected.
When the session is finished, I'll give you a glass of water and we'll take some time to talk about how you felt during the session and anything you may have experienced.
How Reiki May Support Your Wellbeing
People seek Reiki for many different reasons, and no two people's experiences are exactly the same.
Reiki provides a quiet space to step away from the demands of everyday life and focus on relaxation and wellbeing. People may choose Reiki when seeking support with:
• Relaxation and a greater sense of calm
• Stress and tension
• Emotional wellbeing
• Rest during difficult or demanding periods
• Reconnecting with themselves
• General wellbeing and self-care
For people living with chronic health conditions or undergoing ongoing medical treatment, Reiki can also provide a complementary space for relaxation, comfort and emotional support while managing the day-to-day demands of their condition and treatment.
Reiki is a complementary wellbeing practice and is intended to be used alongside, rather than as a replacement for, appropriate medical care or prescribed treatment.
What Might You Experience?
Everyone experiences Reiki differently.
Some people describe sensations such as warmth, tingling or a feeling of deep relaxation during a session. Others may experience something entirely different, while some simply enjoy the opportunity to become still and relax.
There is no particular sensation that you are expected to experience for a Reiki session to be meaningful to you.
Afterwards, we'll have an opportunity to talk about your experience and how you're feeling.
Distant Reiki
You don't need to be in the same room with me to book a Reiki session. For a distant Reiki session, we'll agree on an exact date and time beforehand. At that time, I ask that you find somewhere comfortable where you can relax without being disturbed.
I conduct the session in much the same way as I would if you were physically lying on the treatment plinth in front of me.
Once the session has finished, I'll let you know that I am done, and we can discuss your experience afterwards.
This also means distant Reiki is available internationally, wherever you are in the world.
My Reiki Training
I completed my Level IIIB Reiki training through Angels Touch in Blairgowrie, Johannesburg, through a course approved by the Reiki Guild South Africa. I have been practising Reiki for just over a year.
My training gave me the foundation for my practice, but I believe the way a practitioner treats the person receiving Reiki matters just as much.
Communication, respect and compassion are central to the way I work.
For me, the purpose is simple: I want every client to leave their session feeling better in whatever way is possible for them.
